GSE- World’s Largest Digital Accelerator Announces Fall 2017 Agenda, Speakers, & Judges (Latin America)

November 21, 2017, Rio, Brazil-The Global Startup Ecosystem (GSE) has announced the agenda and speakers for the 2nd annual LATAM digital accelerator. Founded by Forbes 30 Under 30 Entrepreneur, Christine S. Ntim, the Latin American cohort features finalists from over 12 different countries.

Global Startup Ecosystem (GSE)  launched the 1st annual digital startup accelerator for entrepreneurs residing in or seeking to launch a company in Latin America.  GSE digital accelerator programs are open to all small businesses, startups, and freelancers. Each application round is rolling admission until the top 100 are selected to complete the program. From the finalist pool, 10 will be selected to pitch investors and influencers on demo day. The top 3 are announced at the conclusion of the program to receive partner prizes, media features, and potential investment.

GSE digital accelerators are organized by 7 regional directors who will be hosting all programs this fall. Startups can apply for admission to a digital accelerator via our partner platform F6S.  The 2017 accelerator dates are:

  3. Europe October 30- November 1st
  4. America November 7-9
  5. Middle East November 19-21
  6. Asia November 22-23
  7. Latin America November 22-23

Christine Souffrant Ntim is an award-winning Haitian-American entrepreneur & startup ecosystem expert for emerging markets. Einstein Kofi Ntim is a Ghanian-British entrepreneur and startup ecosystem builder that connects innovators to Ai, space, and other exponential tech networks. Formerly a serial entrepreneur, Einstein founded two health care startups- Enabled AI (The AI Mental Health App for Exponential Innovators) and Bloomer Tech (which embeds IOT sensors into fabrics to tackle cardiovascular disease).During his time in silicon valley, Einstein worked on connecting startups to Tim Draper’s venture networks, Bold Emerge Capital, and other VC networks that target entrepreneurs from emerging markets. Anielle Guedes Regional Host- Latin America

Experienced startup founder, inventor, consultant, speaker and advisor with a demonstrated history of working in the technology, construction and government sectors. Expert in emerging technologies, global governance and social economic development.

Luciano Bueno is Expansion Manager at LAIOB (Latin America Institute of Business), he leads corporate missions to hubs of innovation such as Silicon Valley and Israel with the goal to connect and do business between Brazilian C-Levels/Entrepreneurs and those ecosystems. Graduated in Business Administration, he is also Draper University and Babson Alumni. Previously, he worked as Senior Auditor at Deloitte & Touche with the biggest clients of fashion market as well clients pre-IPO and PE invested clients; Financial analyst in Arpex Capital with objective of restructuring the startups leading to a successful exit of R$ 130 MM.

BioElisa Mansur is a Brazilian social entrepreneur and MBA candidate at MIT Sloan. After starting her career in the infrastructure sector, working with company-wide changes, Elisa committed to an entrepreneurial journey with the goal of leveraging entrepreneurship and technology to promote positive impact. As a life-long volunteer and the co-founder of doebem, a nonprofit that does online fundraising to pre-vetted charities, Elisa is an advocate for generosity and “doing good”. She is a Draper University Alum and Brand Ambassador, Yunus&Youth Fellow, Global Shaper for the World Economic Forum and One Young World Ambassador.
